Personal Narrative
3.1 I was able to understand where Mexican American's opinions and thoughts stemmed from in history. It helped me understand the comparison of Mexican-Americans by talking about their role in America. 3.2 I was able to understand the Mexican people's struggles during the time of the Mexican revolution and the Chicano movement. |

Covers the story of indigenous peoples of the southwestern United States: Aztlán, the Spanish colonial period, the Mexican period, and the acquisition and settlement by the United States. Seeks the exposition of indigenous and Hispanic historical and cultural foundations of the region and the confluence with other Asian and European influences. |
